Today is Wednesday, July 21, 2021, still Summer in the United States. However, I have noticed in the United States one dish most people, even from different places, eat and have a part of their menu. The only difference is that it may have a slightly different taste, but it is one side dish that is very common.

This side dish is made with Macaroni and Sharp Cheddar Cheese. It is made with Milk and Baked in an oven. Many different ways of making this typical side dish through other eateries. I make my side dish a little different and more healthy. I have a suggestion for you to consider trying, and it includes Chinese Five Spice. Nutrition Irene Jones

Oriental Style Macaroni

Chinese Five Spice

Ingredients:

6 Dried Tamarind Slices

2 Tbsp Mango Powder

1 Tbsp. Chinese Five Spice

Anise Star Essential Oil

1 Droplet

2 Tbsp Avocado Oil

2 1/2 Cup Hemp Seed Milk

8 Mild Cheddar Cheese Squares

2 Cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese Shredded

1 Box of Macaroni

How to Use Dried Tamarind Slices?

Tamarind Slices; "Soak them in 2/3 cup warm water for 30 minutes to extract their flavor. Squeeze with your fingers, then strain the juice and store it in a Glass Jar.

Instructions:

  1. First, Soak the Tamarind for 30 minutes in warm water.

  2. In a Sauce Pan, pour in the 2 1/2 Cup of Hemp Seed Milk, Turn to Low-Heat, Stir in One Tablespoon of Chinese Five Spice, Stir.

  3. Add in the One Droplet of Anise Star Essential Oil, Stir

  4. Put the Macaroni in Water to Boil. Do Not Add Salt.

  5. Add in the Sauce Pan the two Cups of Shredded Cheese, Stir. Stir for at least five minutes, then turn off the Heat from Pan and Pre-Heat Oven.

  6. Tamarind Extract; Squeeze Tamarind, then pour into Sauce Pan, Stir.

  7. Remove Macaroni from Boil Water, Strain

  8. In a Baking Dish Three Quart Size, Drizzle the Avocado Oil onto the Bottom

  9. Stir the Macaroni into the Sauce Pan

  10. Spoon in the Macaroni, One layer, then add One Tablespoon of Mango Powder. Sprinkle it over the Macaroni. Add the Eight Sharp Cheddar Squares. Now put the Baking Dish into the Oven and Bake for ten minutes.

  11. Remove Baking Sheet from Oven and Add the remainder of the Macaroni into the Baking Dish, then Sprinkle the second Tablespoon of Mango Powder and bake for an additional 20 minutes.

Note: Oven 300 Degrees Fahrenheit.

Mainly because of the enhancing nutrients from the Spices.
