Thursday Evening Soup

It's Thursday. Soup Day! Time for a warm cup or Mug of soup.

Cabbage Chicken Spice

No Salt Soup

2 Celery Stalks

1 Onion

2 Shallots

1 Cabbage (Green Cabbage)

2 Chicken Legs

3 Cups of Water

1 Apple Cider Vinegar

1 tsp Black Pepper

2 Tbsp Chinese Five Spice


  1. In a Soup Pot, add in the three cups of Water

  2. Turn heat to Low-Heat let simmer

  3. Wash the two Chicken Legs under Cold Water

  4. Add the Chicken Legs into the Soup Pot, Stir.

  5. Peel the one Onion

  6. Slice the one Onion add into the Soup Pot, Stir

  7. Continue to cook on Low-Heat.

  8. The Two Celery Stalks Wash under Cold Water

  9. Dry the two Celery Stalks with Paper Towel

  10. Slice the two Celery Stalks and dice

  11. Then add into the Soup Pot, Stir

  12. Peel the two Shallots

  13. Once peeled, slice into small bite-size pieces

  14. Add the Shallots into the Soup Pot, Stir

  15. Continue to cook on Low-Heat.

  16. Chinese Five Spice: Add into the Soup Pot the two Tbsps, Stir.

  17. Green Cabbage: Remove the outer cabbage leaves, set-aside

  18. Cut the Green Cabbage in half, slice, and add it into the Soup Pot, Stir

  19. Continue to cook on Low-Heat

  20. Add in the one teaspoon of Black Pepper, Stir

  21. Now pour in the one cup of Apple Cider Vinegar, Stir

  22. Continue to cook for 10-15 minutes; stir.

  23. Once cooked. Turn off the Low-Heat, Stir again.

  24. Get a soup bowl or a Mug.

  25. Take one Chicken Leg add it to your soup bowl or Mug.

  26. With a serving spoon, add the soup broth into the soup bowl or Mug.

  27. Then add in the cabbage and other vegetables

  28. Stir, and Enjoy!
