How to Make Jade Beutler Flax-Almond Mayonnaise?
1/4 cup raw almonds
1/4 cup water, soy milk, or rice milk
1/2 teaspoon nutritional yeast
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt or salt substitute
1/4 cup Barlean's organic flax oil
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
Combine ingredients in a blender or food processor in descending order. Blend on high speed until thick and creamy.
Refrigerate until ready to use. Keeps 10 days to 2 weeks refrigerated. Makes 1 Cup.
