Side Dish

Turnip Mash

Six Turnip, Peeled, and Diced

1 Cup of Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar

3 Cups of Water

1 tsp. Celery Salt

1 tsp. Onion Powder

1/2 tsp. Amchur Ground

1/2 Cup of Sour Cream


  1. Peel, cut, and dice the six Turnips

  2. In a pot at in the one cup of Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar

  3. Pour in the three cups of water, Stir.

  4. Add into the Pot the diced Turnips, Stir.

  5. Turn on to Low-Heat, Stir.

  6. Let cook for 10 minutes, Stir.

  7. Add into the Pot one teaspoon of Celery Salt, Stir.

  8. Continue to cook for 10 minutes; stir.

  9. Add into the Pot one teaspoon of Onion Powder, Stir.

  10. Continue to cook for five minutes. Stir.

  11. Add into the Pot 1/2 teaspoon of Amchur Ground, Stir.

  12. Continue to cook for an additional five minutes.

  13. Once cooked for the other five minutes. Turn off the Low-Heat. Stir and set aside.

  14. Get a Mixing Bowl and Strainer

  15. Once the diced Turnips cool, drain with a strainer and with a Hand Masher Mash the diced Turnips in a Mixing Bowl

  16. Once the diced Turnips are Mash, add them into the mixing bowl.

  17. Then put half of a cup of Sour Cream in the mixing bowl and mix with a spoon.

  18. Get a serving plate. Spoon on two to three spoons and Enjoy!
