When shopping at a Vegetable Stand, Supermarket with my Dad; this is one of the Squash he would select for cooking and making a healthy meal to enjoy. Most times added into a Stew or Soup.

Onion Squash Soup

2-3 Golden Bar Squash

1/2 Cup of Diced Celery

1 Teaspoon of Aloe Vera Powder

1/2 Cup of Raw Apple Cider Vinegar

Reishi Mushroom Broth

How To Make?

  1. Reishi Mushroom Tea 2-4 Teabags

  2. One Onion

  3. 2 Cinnamon Sticks


  1. Boil water to make Tea. In a Mug, add in two to four teabags Reishi Mushroom Tea Bags. Make the Tea leave tea bags in for 5 to 10 minutes.

  2. Slice and dice one onion, set aside

  3. Two sticks of Cinnamon, add into a Saucepot.

  4. Pour in the Reishi Mushroom Tea, Stir

  5. Turn on Medium Heat, Stir

  6. Add in the Onions, Stir. Let cook for two to five minutes.

  7. Turn off Heat

  8. Wash the Golden Bar Squash under Cold Water, dry with Paper Towel

  9. Slice, Dice two to three Golden Bar Squash, add into Soup Pot.

  10. Add Broth into Soup Pot with the Golden Bar Squash

Making the Soup

  1. Turn on Low-Heat, Soup Pot

  2. Let the Soup now cook on Low-Heat for 15 minutes

  3. Until the Golden Bar Squash softens, stir

  4. Stir in One Teaspoon of Aloe Vera Powder

  5. Add the 1/2 cup of diced Celery, Stir

  6. Let simmer, Stir

  7. Pour in the 1/2 Cup Raw Apple Cider Vinegar, Stir

  8. Let simmer, Stir

  9. Turn off the Low-Heat, Stir

  10. Get a Soup Bowl or Mug

  11. Add in the Soup and Enjoy!
