Did You Drink Water this Week?

It is still Summer Lemons are used during the summertime.

Many people mostly make a lot more of Lemonade and use Lemon for fish marinades for a Fish Fry, Cookout, or Barbeque gathering.

It is Friday, the start day of the weekend. Suppose you are having a weekend gathering; here is a Summertime Beverage to consider trying. Let me know what you think of it once you try it. Thanks! Health Coach Irene Jones





Lemon Lemongrass Mint Water

1 Lemongrass

2 Fresh Lemons

1 Cup of Lemon Peels

3 Mint Leaves

2 Cups of Water

1 tsp Raw Honey

1 tsp. of Black Pepper

1 Tbsp. of Cinnamon

1/2 Cup Organic Raw Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar

Instruction:

  1. In a Sauce Pan, add two cups of water.

  2. Then wash under Cold Water Lemongrass, dry with a paper towel, chop the inner section and then add into the Sauce Pan.

  3. Turn to Low-Heat, to simmer.

  4. Add in one teaspoon of Black Pepper, Stir.

  5. Now add in one Tablespoon of Cinnamon, Stir.

  6. Simmer on Low-Heat for Five minutes, Stir

  7. Pour in the 1/2 cup of Organic Raw Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar, Stir.

  8. Stir in the one teaspoon of Organic Raw Honey [Note: One Tablespoon is 16 grams of Sugar]

  9. Turn off the Low-Heat and Set aside to cool.

  10. Get a Picher, slice one Lemon to add-inside

  11. Once Lemon is sliced, Juice the other Lemon and pour the Fresh Lemon Juice inside the Pitcher, Stir.

  12. Now add in the Mint Leaves; first wash them under Cold Water, Dry with a paper towel, then place them inside the Pitcher, Stir.

  13. Now Pour the Lemongrass Tea from the Sauce Pan into the Pitcher, including the Lemongrass Vegetable pieces, and Stir.

  14. Add in One Cup of Lemon Peels, then Stir. Place the Pitcher inside a Refrigerator for 2 to 4 hours or up to six hours.

  15. Remove from refrigerator, get an 8 oz Glass to add in a few ice cubes, pour in, and Enjoy!
